WHOA
Well, mom always told me when I was growing up that feeding my 3 growing brothers and me was like feeding an army. Now that I have a growing son, I know what she's talking about. Today at breakfast Zachary had a large bowl of Rice Krispies, 2 Pop-Tarts, a juice box and a glass of milk. A midmorning snack consisted of some goldfish and a pack of fruit chews. For lunch he ate a full adult-size sliced chicken sandwich, 4 pieces of shaved ham on top of 5 crackers and 2 slices of cheese, some shredded cheese, a bunch of grapes, some Cheetohs, a cup of water and a glass of milk. If that's not bad enough, then Katie has gotten into the mix and is doing a good job of keeping pace with her brother. Good grief! It's a good thing we are cooking meals at home now!! Not to mention - where is all that food going? Is it the proverbial hollow leg? If so, my kids must have 2 hollow legs because there is no way all that food would fit into 1! LOL!
